Presentation

  Hi! We're Sara and Ainhoa and we're going to show you our project of the journey to Reykjavik (Iceland) from the 28th March to the 31st March.

First of all, we've been calculating a budget for fourteen people, our class, and on average, we think it's going to be about 800 euros per person.

Flight

Departure: We've planned to take the flight in Bilbo, the 28th at 07:20, so we will meet in the airport at 06:00 . Our arrival in Reykjavik will be at 15:50 owing to the scale we will have to do in Paris (duration of it: 4 hours).

Return: The return to Bilbo will be at 07:40 again with a scale in Paris, a bit longer this time (7 hours) so we'll get to Bilbo at 22:05 .

The price of the flight per person is of 702.80 euros.

*We're sorry about the timetables but they're the only flight we've found for these dates.

Stay

We're going to spend our weekend in a hotel in the centre of Reykjavik in the popular district 101. The hotel's name is Reykjavik4You Apartments which is recommended and well-evaluated. We've booked 3 deluxe apartments (each one for 6 people).
The total price of the stay is 1413 euros, 100 euros per person.

Friday

Our planning for Friday is:

09.00 -> Breakfast (we'll have it in the hotel)

09.30 -> We'll leave the hotel to take the local bus

10.30 -> Arrival to the Reykjavik Art Museum
               As it has three different buildings, we'll visit Hafnarhúsið (contemporary art). Here's a video to get an idea:

13.00 -> Lunch wherever you want (near the area in which we'll be)

16.00 -> Shopping in Laugavegur street and Skólavörðustígur, (most famous ones)

20.00 -> We'll meet at the entrance of the main street to go back to the hotel

21.30 -> Dinner at the hotel

Afterwards, everybody can hang out in their bedrooms.

Saturday

09.00 -> Breakfast

10.30 -> We'll leave the hotel
 We'll go on foot to a thermal swimming pool, in  Laugardalslaug.

13.00 -> We'll have lunch previously taken from the hotel

14.00 -> SPLASH!

17.00 -> Back to the hotel to leave our stuff and rest a bit before the night activity.

19.00 -> The bus is coming to the hotel to take us to the tour.
               We'll be going on the Northern Lights Tour by a company called Reykjavik Excursions. Here are some photos of the tour:

00.00 -> The bus will  take us to the hotel

Sunday

 On Sunday, as we'll do another bus tour to visit the geysers, we'll have to get up early as it is at 9 o'clock.

07.00 -> Breakfast

08.00 -> The bus will collect us

We'll take lunch from the hotel.

09.00 -> The tour starts

17.00 -> The tour finishes.

18.00 -> Return to the hotel.
               Once at the hotel, anybody that would like to go shopping can go and anyone who would like to rest, can rest.

 21.00 -> Dinner

22.00 -> Prepare suitcases


*As we don't see it necessary to specify the Monday plan we'll explain it briefly:
We'll have to be at the airport at 06.00 and we'll get up at 05.00 (a bus will come to take us to the airport)
